Free LED Lightbulbs Question:
Regarding the free LED lightbulbs, I had someone approach me with a query.
They liked the look of Utility Warehouse. However, their dilemma is this:
- They have recently bought a house that they will be renting out. They bought it in a company structure. They won’t be living there. They will be paying the bills. They are looking at everything. They don’t need mobile but they will take it to get the Free LED lightbulbs etc.
- Can they use UW?
- If so, what is better – residential or business?
- As they are the landlord will it be under the tenant scheme?
I have worked out the cost on the both residential and business, it works out roughly the same.
What can I do!?
Having done this a few times now, the application is classed as residential so long as the name of the applicant is paying the bills. The service address is the house address but the billing address can be elsewhere.
As the homeowner is paying the bill for the property it will be residential. No need to over complicate it. Supply address will be the property address you are supplying but you will need to put the billing address as where the homeowners bank details relate to whether it be a home or business address. In this case the key is that the supply is residential, this way they qualify for the homeowner benefits including the free LED lightbulbs.
Does this help you? Would you like free LED Lightbulbs for your whole house ?
Utility Warehouse will replace all the light bulbs in your home with the latest energy efficient LED bulbs, typically worth £300 – £500 including fitting. The bulbs are bright, light up instantly and are fully dimmable.
